Hair extensions add volume, length

Many celebrities get ready for awards show by putting on their new dress, new jewelry and new hair! Hair Extensions offer volume and length to any head of hair and today they are available in a variety of styles and price ranges.

For a temporary long lock fix, many favor temporary extensions.

To keep that long hair look for at least 6 months, "permanent" extensions that are bonded to individual strands of your own hair.

Whichever you decide, Salon owner Rachel Gower offers two important suggestions: Using extensions made of human hair not only look and feel real, but can be colored and cut to better blend in with your own hair.

Gower also says if you elect "permanent" hair extensions, make sure your stylist uses keratine protein bonding. Some stylists use glue, which according to Gower, "That's not good for your hair. I don't care how you look at it."
